Simplify the job/internship application process!

ApplyLog is a free Chrome extension for job and internship hunters. Add a job in one click and it's saved straight to a Google Sheet in your own account — no separate tracker to keep updating by hand.

What ApplyLog does

Click the extension icon, connect your Google account once, and ApplyLog handles the spreadsheet for you — creating it, formatting it, and keeping it organized as you apply.

Syncs to your own Google Sheet
ApplyLog creates a spreadsheet called "ApplyLog - Job Applications" in your Google Drive and formats it automatically — header row, column widths, status colors, dropdowns, and filters.
Add jobs in seconds
A short form — title, company, status, type, location, salary, deadline, link, notes — appends a new row to your sheet the moment you submit it.
Organized by stage
Applications are grouped into Applied, Saved, and In Progress (interviewing, offer, rejected), read live from your sheet so it's always up to date.
Search and stats
Filter by title or company, and see at-a-glance counts for each stage of your search without opening the spreadsheet.
Import an old spreadsheet
Already tracking applications somewhere else? Pick it from Google's own file picker and ApplyLog matches its columns to your ApplyLog sheet, shows a preview, and imports the rows.
Nothing lost on close
In-progress form entries are auto-saved, so closing the popup mid-entry doesn't lose your draft.

How ApplyLog uses your Google account

ApplyLog only ever touches spreadsheets it made itself, or ones you explicitly hand it. Here's exactly what that means.

What it accesses

Google Sheets and Google Drive, scoped to the "ApplyLog - Job Applications" spreadsheet it creates in your account, plus — only if you use the import feature — the one old spreadsheet you pick through Google's own file picker.

What it doesn't do

ApplyLog can't browse or search your Drive on its own. It only ever sees files it created itself or that you explicitly selected through Google's picker — nothing else.

Your control

Disconnect at any time from the extension popup to revoke access and clear cached tokens. Your spreadsheet stays in your Drive either way.
